Jaguar Club of Southern New England

JCSNE is among the oldest of about 45 Jaguar drivers' clubs in the United States. It is affiliated with the JAGUAR CLUBS OF NORTH AMERICA, INC. (JCNA). Our nearest neighbor clubs are the Empire Division (Metro NY area); JDCLI, Jaguar Drivers Club of Long Island; JDC, Jaguar Touring Club (Metro, NY, NJ, CT); and JANE, Jaguar Association of New England (MA and NH). These are active, enthusiastic groups with whom we have the pleasure of participating in their events and hosting them at our own.

Our Events Calendar is fairly active during the year, with such events as tune-up and technical sessions, tours, an occasional automotive flea market, and an annual car show. Each of the JCNA-affiliated clubs, including JCSNE, hosts an annual Concours d'Elegance that attracts a field of beautiful examples of the marque with competitive trophy classes that allow both show-quality and "driven" Jaguars to participate. There are also club racing events at such locations as Lime Rock Park for the vintage racing enthusiasts.

Membership in the Jaguar Club of Southern New England includes men and women of all ages. Not all members currently own Jaguars. Those who are owners have collected a wide variety of models, ranging from the classics to the very latest models.

Monthly meetings are held at various locations. Occasionally, a meeting may be held at a member's home. Meetings are informal with brief business discussions followed by a variety of programs, speakers, technical demonstrations, socializing, car talk or auto-related movies to mention a few.

Our bimonthly newsletter, THE SPOTTED CAT, carries notices of upcoming events (both our own and other clubs') as well as other auto events of interest to members, provides service information, articles by fellow enthusiasts and experts, as well as commercial and free classified advertising. The club maintains a register of Jaguars and a photo album with pictures of club events and members' cars.

We hope your interest in Jaguars and this brief description of the club will encourage you to attend our next meeting and to join the Jaguar Club of Southern New England. For more information please EMAIL: coinman1@bigfoot.com

One of the best ways to enjoy your Jaguar is to consider membership in a Jaguar Club. Through being a club member and interacting with other enthusiasts, you learn valuable information on maintaining, rebuilding, or restoring your Jaguar and where to find the best parts sources and related services such as bodywork, painting, interiors, engines, etc.. Members also swap parts and services with each other, to the benefit of both parties.
